How to deep clean fryer

  • Turn Off and Cool Down: Turn off the fryer and let it cool down to a safe temperature.
  • Drain the Oil: Once cool, drain all the used oil into a suitable container.
  • Remove Residue: Scrape or wipe away any remaining food particles or debris from the inside of the fryer.
  • Fill with Water and Cleaner: Fill the fryer with hot water and add a commercial-grade fryer cleaning solution.
  • Boil Out the Fryer: Turn the fryer back on and bring the water/cleaning solution to a boil. Let it simmer for a recommended amount of time (usually 20-30 minutes) to help dissolve grease and residues.
  • Scrub the Fryer: After boiling, turn off the fryer and use a fryer cleaning brush to scrub the inside walls, heating elements, and other areas to remove any stuck-on grease or residue.
  • Drain and Rinse: Carefully drain the dirty water and rinse the fryer with fresh hot water to remove any remaining cleaner.
  • Dry the Fryer: Allow the fryer to air dry or use a clean cloth to wipe it down completely before refilling it with oil.
  • Refill with Fresh Oil: After the fryer is fully dried, refill it with fresh oil, and it’s ready to use.
